December 2026 calendar
December 2026 fills five week rows, opening on a Tuesday and carrying the year out on a Thursday. This page prints the month at the size of your paper — Letter or A4 — with Christmas Day marked in its cell on Friday the 25th.
Holidays in December 2026
Every date in the list below is computed against December 2026's real weekdays from the federal holiday rules — nothing is carried over from a previous year's table. Entries flagged federal are also marked inside their grid cell; observances appear in this list only, leaving the printed cells uncluttered. December keeps the rules simple this year: a single federal date, landing on a weekday, so no observed-day substitution applies.
- Fri, December 25 — Christmas Day federal holiday
- Thu, December 31 — New Year's Eve observance
How this December 2026 page works
December has 31 days, with Christmas Day on Friday the 25th. Use the standard layout for more writing space, or choose coloring top for a blank drawing panel above the grid. Both layouts include the same dates and federal holiday marks.
Every line and numeral on the sheet sits at a real millimeter coordinate in an SVG, and when the print dialog opens the page declares the dimensions of Letter or A4 stock — so at 100% scale the browser lays the grid onto paper whose size it already knows, with no stored file to stretch or shrink. Nothing here is transcribed. The code asks which weekday opens the month — a Tuesday — counts out 31 days, and places each in turn, wrapping five week rows deep. Christmas Day appears in its cell because the federal holiday rules, evaluated against this particular December, put it there, not because a template carried a mark over from some other year.
The sheet leaves some things out. There are no week numbers along the edge and no lunar phases in the corners — additions that suit some planners and clutter others. Non-federal observances, New Year's Eve among them, are listed below the sheet for reference but never marked inside the cells; the grid reserves its ink for the federal set. If your week runs Monday to Sunday, the Monday-start option rebuilds the grid accordingly — still five rows for this month either way. One setting decides whether the millimeters reach paper intact: the print dialog's scale must stay at 100%, sometimes labeled Actual size. Any fit-to-page or shrink-to-fit option scales the drawing down, and a scaled calendar no longer matches the measurements this page drew.
