The measurements behind the paper.

Every generator on this site hands your browser exact geometry. These guides cover the rest of the chain — the print setting that decides whether the millimeters survive, the real numbers behind ruled and gridded paper, and how to choose a ruling that matches the work. Written to be checked against a ruler, not just read.

How these guides are written

Every number in these pages is either a published standard, a direct unit conversion, or arithmetic you can redo yourself — and each guide points at a sheet you can print and measure to confirm it. Where the honest answer is "that depends on your printer" or "there is no single standard," the guide says so rather than inventing a figure. The methodology page covers the geometry the generators use; these guides cover everything that happens between that geometry and the paper in your hand.
